Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On additional measures to further improve the infrastructure of mahallas in 2022-2023”.

According to the resolution, internal roads, drinking water supply, electricity and gas supply, education, healthcare, culture, sports and other infrastructure facilities will be improved locally.

Khokimiyats, the Committee for Highways, Regional Electric Networks JSC, Khududgaztaminot JSC, Uzsuvtaminot JSC and other customer organizations, by 15 November 2022, will take measures to develop design and estimate documentation for projects implemented under the Programs.

Construction and repair work under the programs is financed by the Obod Qishloq and Obod Mahalla funds.

Funds allocated in 2022 and not disbursed by the end of the year are not subject to return to the State budget and these funds are directed in 2023 to complete the construction and repair of facilities provided for in the Programs.

The heads of sectors of districts (cities) and other territorial organizations monthly submit a report to the district (city) Kengashes of people's deputies on the work carried out under the Programs.
