Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The inauguration of the elected President of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be held on 6 November in Tashkent. This was announced by the press secretary of the head of Uzbekistan Sherzod Asadov.

"A joint meeting of the Legislative Chamber and the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dedicated to the inauguration of the elected President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, will take place on 6 November at 11:00 in the city of Tashkent," he said.

According to him, the inauguration will take place in the large conference room of the new building of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev, nominated by the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Business People - the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, won the presidential elections on 24 October 2021. He received 80.12% of the votes of the total number of voters who took part in the voting.
