Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26 May 2020, a telephone conversation took place between the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzili Narbaeva and the Chairman of the Turkish Grand Assembly Mustafa Sentop.
The leaders of the parliaments of the two countries expressed their sincere congratulations on the occasion of Ramadan Khayit.
Mustafa Sentop emphasized the effectiveness of effective measures taken in the fight against coronavirus in Uzbekistan. The head of the Turkish parliament praised the work to reduce the negative consequences of this dangerous disease, provide targeted assistance to the population, the development of the economy and entrepreneurship.
The parties noted that relations between our countries are rapidly developing in trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other fields. Warm relations between the heads of two states are of great importance in this. The need for parliaments to make a worthy contribution to the further intensification of this process was noted.
