Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 11 June, on the second day of his official visit to Tajikistan, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived from Dushanbe to Khujand.

Here the distinguished guest was met by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

Much preparation was carried out in Khujand for the arrival of the head of our state. At the airport and on the streets of the city, decorated with the flags of the two countries, the President of our country was also joyfully greeted by numerous members of the public.

The leaders had a short meeting and together went to the Arbob Palace of Culture near Khujand.
