Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the fourteenth plenary meeting of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the issue of approving some decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was considered.

The senators adopted a resolution on the approval of decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On social support for the elderly and persons with disabilities, as well as the further development of the system of boarding schools Sakhovat and Muruvvat and “On measures to further improve the system of public administration in the spheres of tourism, sports and cultural heritage”.

In addition, the issue of the composition of the Senate Commission of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on regulations and ethics was considered.

Some members of the Statutory and Ethics Commission were excluded from the Commission due to their transfer to another job.

The candidates for the renewed composition of the Commission were approved by the senators. In particular, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Defense and Security Issues Kutbidin Nukritdinovich Burkhanov was approved as the Chairman of the Commission, the Deputy Chairman of the Senate Committee on Judicial and Legal Issues and Anti-Corruption - Shukhrat Askarovich Chuliev and a member of the Commission - Senator Sanobar Zarfullaevna Suyarova.

Also, at the meeting, the issue of amending the composition of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan was considered. In particular, by the resolution of the Senate, judges of the Supreme Court Nodira Alokhonovna Bobokhonova and Janagul Balkibayeva were relieved of their posts as judges of the Supreme Court in connection with their transfer to another job.

The resolutions of tion, 21 issues were discussed, including 8 laws.
