Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the plant for the production of synthetic liquid fuel Uzbekneftegaz GTL in Guzar district of Kashkadarya region, pre-commissioning and commissioning works are actively continuing.

In particular, a flare unit of the Uzbekneftegaz GTL plant has been commissioned for this.

The flare unit is designed for the disposal of flammable vapors or gases emitted during production and technological processes, and is also used mainly in emergency situations or for the purposes of carrying out the established technological routine work, as well as during periodic discharges of gas (steam), start-up, adjustment and shutdown of technological facilities.

To date, pre-commissioning and commissioning works are continuing at the Uzbekneftegaz GTL plant.

It is worth noting that the Uzbekneftegaz GTL plant under construction in Guzar district of Kashkadarya region will be commissioned in the 4th quarter of this year. With the commissioning of the plant, 3.6 billion cubic meters of gas will be processed per year, from which 1.5 million tons of high-quality synthetic liquid fuel, more than 307 thousand tons of jet fuel, 724 thousand tons of diesel fuel, 437 thousand tons of naphtha, 53 thousand tons liquefied gas.
