Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 23 December, the first advanced training course for specialists in preschool education in Uzbekistan was launched at the Russian State Pedagogical University. A.I. Herzen.

About 59 specialists of the preschool education system from all over Uzbekistan will undergo a 16-hour program in the direction of "Psychological and pedagogical work with children with mental retardation as subjects of inclusive education." For teachers, training on the course is free of charge with the support of the Russian State Pedagogical University. A.I. Herzen.

In December 2019, as part of the development of the implementation of international experience to improve the quality of teaching staff in the republic, an agreement was concluded between the Ministry of Preschool Education and the Russian State Pedagogical University named after A.I. Herzen on opening a branch in Uzbekistan.

The main activities of the branch are training specialists in various areas of bachelor’s and master’s degrees, such as psychological and pedagogical education, special (defectological) education, etc.

Also, the university will train scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel in the field of preschool education, advanced training and retraining of the qualifications of pedagogical personnel in accordance with international educational standards.
