Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev completed his visit to Turkey to participate in the summit of the Turkic Council and returned to Tashkent.

The head of our state took part in the eighth summit of the Turkic Council, held bilateral meetings.

The summit discussed issues of further expanding cooperation in the areas of trade, investment, green economy, digital technologies, transport, education and culture. As a result, more than 10 documents were signed.

In particular, decisions were made to rename the Turkic Council into the Organization of Turkic States and hold its first summit next year in Uzbekistan.
