Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The first Republican conference "Workshop 2022" is being held in the city of Navoi.

The organizers of the event - the ministries of tourism and sports, health, the Association of Medical Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the khokimiyat of Navoi region - invited the heads and leading specialists of the republican specialized scientific and practical medical centers and large domestic clinics to participate, including including diagnostics, sanatoriums, to discuss the development of medical and health tourism in our country.

As part of the event, meetings, presentations, acquaintances with managers of medical and health tourism of leading medical, diagnostic centers, clinics and sanatoriums are planned.

According to numerous participants of the republican conference, this is a unique opportunity to present your institutions to a wide range of interested colleagues, establish partnerships with them, and attract new patients.

- Our goal is to bring the quality of medical services and their types provided to the population to the international level, - says Akobir Shukurov, Chairman of the Medical Tourism Association of the Republic of Uzbekistan - To develop this area, we studied the experience and practice of colleagues from Turkey, Israel, the Republic of Belarus, Korea and developed our own approaches recommended by public and private medical institutions. Based on the level of each, we individually promote their entry into the international market. The Republican conference "Workshop 2022" is our first introductory event for specialists and entrepreneurs involved in the field of medical and health tourism, in the format of an open dialogue. The Navoi region, which, in our opinion, is taking serious steps in the development of local health care, which still lacks individual specialists, high-tech and professional medical equipment, was chosen as the venue for it.

Among the participants of the Republican conference "Workshop 2022" are representatives of 25 leading domestic public and private clinics in the field of oncology, traumatology, cosmetology, urology. They are aimed at studying the potential of medical tourism in the Navoi region, finding partners, opening branches of medical institutions here and sending their specialists. For the Association of Medical Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan, it is an opportunity to expand the representative composition of the organization, which over the past year has been joined by over 200 public and private medical institutions.
