Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The first meeting of the dialogue format "Uzbekistan - Azerbaijan - Turkey" began its work in Tashkent.
This meeting is being held with the participation of the heads of the ministries of the three countries responsible for foreign policy, economics and transport.
Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov opened a trilateral meeting in the format "Uzbekistan - Azerbaijan - Turkey" in Tashkent.
- The creation of a dialogue format "Uzbekistan - Azerbaijan - Turkey" is more in demand than ever, given the rapid and ambiguous processes taking place in international relations and the global economy. In order to develop concrete ideas on the prospects for cooperation in a trilateral format in various fields, it will be useful to organize a scientific and practical conference between the think tanks of Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey. We are ready to host this event in Tashkent within the terms acceptable to all of us,” said Vladimir Norov.
The agenda of the event includes issues of further strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey in the areas of regional and international politics, trade, economy, investment and transport.
During the meeting, as expected, new proposals will be developed to expand mutually beneficial cooperation in these areas.
As a result of the event, the Tashkent Declaration will be adopted.
