Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, as well as the presidents of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan will take part in the first India-Central Asia summit.
According to a press release from the Indian Foreign Ministry, the summit will be held on 27 January in a virtual format.
The event will discuss the further development of relations between the six countries, as well as regional and international issues, including security issues.
Prior to this, the leaders of India and the states of Central Asia had not met at such summits.
