Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A special flight of Uzbekistan Airways with citizens of Uzbekistan evacuated from Ukraine flew from the Polish city of Katowice to Uzbekistan.

According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, among the passengers are women, children, students and workers in various fields. There are 240 passengers on board.

Currently, at the Karchova checkpoint (Poland), a collection point has been organized for citizens of Uzbekistan arriving from the Ukrainian city of Lvov. In this regard, during the day on 28 February, an additional special aircraft will be organized to take out our compatriots.
