The first events of the World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education starts

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, the first events started in Tashkent as part of the World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education with the support of the Preschool education Ministry of Uzbekistan and UNESCO.

Delegates from foreign countries, headed by the Minister of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Agrippina Shin and the Deputy Director General for Education of UNESCO Stefania Giannini, visited Puchon University, where they planted a nominal alley of trees.

We are very pleased to start our path towards the goals of the conference with such a "green" step. This brings together our intentions in a sustainable and strategic approach to early childhood education. It is symbolic that the guests and I planted a name alley at the University. As part of trips to kindergartens, guests will also be able to plant similar rows of trees, the minister Agrippina Shin noted.

Also in the morning, several forums were held at the Hilton:

Civil Society Forum

Forum of Non-Governmental Organizations

Youth Forum

- I admire the results achieved in the field of early childhood development in Uzbekistan, in particular, the political platform created by the state. I listened to a number of presentations-projects implemented not only in schools, but also in medical institutions, support for children with disabilities and their education. - noted Ms. Mercedes Mayol Lassalle, President of the World Organization for Early Childhood Development and Education, as part of her speech on the sidelines of the forum.
