Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The twenty-fourth plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan began its work today in the city of Tashkent in the session hall of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.

The plenary session was chaired by Tanzila Narbayeva, Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.

The meeting, which was held via videoconference, was attended by senators, members of the government, representatives of ministries and departments, as well as employees of domestic and foreign media.

On the first day of the plenary session, the senators considered 12 issues, including 9 laws.

This concluded the first day of the 24th plenary session. The plenary session will continue its work on 19 March at 10:00.
