Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to ensure the implementation of the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 24 February 2020 "On additional measures for the transition to international financial reporting standards" , National Electric Grids of Uzbekistan JSC is carrying out large-scale work.

In particular, as a result of the large-scale work carried out by Isakulov Dadajon Ainakulovich, Chairman of the Board of National Electric Grids of Uzbekistan JSC, EY, which is considered one of the four largest audit and consulting companies in the world, gave the reports of National Electric Grids of Uzbekistan JSC for 2019- 2020 positive audit reports.

At the end of 2021, National Electric Grids of Uzbekistan JSC was one of the first companies in the energy industry to fully implement consolidated financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and audit it, and was also one of the first to receive a positive audit opinion.

The audit of the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS by experts from the audit company EY covered the period from April 2022 to the end of June of this year.

It should be noted that the positive audit report received for three years in a row on the consolidated financial statements under IFRS is an important step towards achieving even more ambitious goals for National Electric Grids of Uzbekistan JSC, including obtaining an international credit rating.
