Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The festival "Movement of five initiatives of Tashkent", which took place in the capital for five days, gathered 60 thousand talented and initiative young people on one square. According to the participants and guests, this large-scale and bright event will go down in the history of New Uzbekistan and, undoubtedly, will become a tradition among the modern, progressive-minded youth of our country.
For the event, organized by the khokimiyat of the city of Tashkent, in the center of the capital, on an area of3.8 hectares, a youth town was built with bright decorations and structures in each direction.
The conference program includes cultural, intellectual and sports competitions, media trainings, open dialogues with politicians and ministers, meetings with journalists and bloggers, Tashkent Dance Fest and Tashkent Voice Fest dance and vocal competitions, Brain Ring intellectual competitions, Street Art competitions, concert programs other.
Also, on the last day of the event, presentations of the 5 best volunteer groups took place. During the festival, 11 groups of volunteers were presented with laptops.
On the last day of the event, the khokim of the city of Tashkent, Jakhongir Artikkhodjaev, once again met with the participants of the festival and said that, despite the lack of experience, he supports the appointment of young specialists to leadership positions. The khokim shared his views on the reconstruction of theaters, squares, parks, palaces of culture in the city, as well as on creating opportunities for young people, ICT professionals, including the opening of coworking centers. He stressed that officials should not sit in government buildings. “To be honest, I myself want to sit in a big hangar. It should be a place with easy access for young people and everyone in general,” the city mayor noted.
The event also hosted the final of the Brain Ring and Tashkent Cyber Cup-2021 intellectual games for cybersportsmen. The award ceremony has become a bright and memorable event. The winners of the Women's Networking Week and ProjectX Idea have been announced. Classes with speakers and mentors, projects, presentations and pitches were developed with the testimony of the jury. The winning teams in both competitions were announced and received the necessary funds from TBC Bank to implement the projects.
The closing ceremony of the "Movement of the Five Initiatives of Tashkent" festival ended with a musical performance by DJs and a concert program full of incomparable emotions.
