Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Regulation on the organization of the educational process based on the credit-modular system at the Tashkent State University of Law was approved by the Government resolution.
In accordance with the regulation, the European model of transfer and accumulation of loans will be introduced at the Tashkent State Law University (TSUL).
The educational program in the academic year consists of one or several modules and is approved by the TSUL Council.
The length of the academic year is also determined by the Council.
In the credit-modular system, 1 credit corresponds to an average of 25-30 hours of study load. The academic load is divided into: bachelor’s degree - 40-50% of class hours, 50-60% of independent working hours;
- Master’s degree - 30-40% of classroom hours, 60-70% of independent working hours.
The amount of credit hours and study load will be posted on the website of the TDYUU.
The student must earn 30 credits per semester and 60 credits per academic year.
A student who misses 25% or more of a course in a subject without a valid excuse will be excluded from the subject, will not be included in the final check, and will not be considered for credit in that subject.
A student who was not admitted to the final control or who did not pass, received an unsatisfactory grade, is considered an academic debtor.
Debtor students can re-study the unlearned subjects at their own expense after payment during the holidays or during the following semesters, depending on the amount of unpaid loan provided for by the contract.
