Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A new electronic platform “eVOTE - electronic voting” has been created in Uzbekistan, allowing remote participation in meetings of shareholders and Supervisory Board meetings, as well as voting on agenda items regardless of location.
This was reported by the State Asset Management Agency (SAMA). This platform is currently being tested.
The SAMA report also indicated that successive negotiations were held with 1,320 investors who have obligations to invest in objects acquired by them from the state. More than 330 investors have requested an extension of their contractual obligations due to the pandemic. By the decision of the Special Republican Commission for the Control of Coronavirus, measures were taken to extend the validity of agreements with investors.
