Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Qakhramon Olimov was appointed director of the Tashkent branch of the Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University.

Russian State Pedagogical University named after A.I. Herzen is a world famous university in the field of pedagogy. The branch will start work from the 2021-2022 academic year in Tashkent. The branch will train specialists in such directions as “preschool education”, “special pedagogy (deaf pedagogy, typhlopedagogy, oligophrenopedagogy)”, “psychology”, “theory and methods of teaching the Russian language” and “psychology and social pedagogy”. Training in the branch is carried out on the basis of grants and contracts.

In 2020-2021, Kakhramon Olimov served as First Deputy Minister of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
