The daily incidence of COVID-19 is decreasing slightly

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 17 January 2022, the number of registered cases of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan made up 207,057 (+935).

New cases in the country were registered:

- 30 people in the Republic of Karakalpakstan,

- 23 people in Andijan region,

- 28 people in Bukhara region,

- 32 people in Jizzakh region,

- 18 people in Kashkadarya region,

- 9 people in Navoi region,

- 39 people in Namangan region,

- 57 people in Samarkand region,

- 24 people in Syrdarya region,

- 16 people in Surkhandarya region,

- 26 people in Ferghana region,

- 33 people in Khorezm region,

- 134 people in Tashkent region,

- 466 people in Tashkent.

In Tashkent, 197 patients were cured, the total number of cured patients reached 199872 (+679) and the recovery rate is 97%.

Also, 4 patients with coronavirus died and the number of deaths from the disease amounted to 1522 people.
