Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A presidential resolution amended the Regulation on the procedure for military service by citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to this, it has been established that a serviceman is enrolled under a contract at the disposal of the commander (chief) and the corresponding payments and terms are made.

In particular, in cases of dismissal from office due to organizational and staff activities or appointment to another position - no more than two months, the serviceman is paid:

- salary according to military rank; the official salary for the last main position held; seniority bonus;

- a surcharge at the expense of the Special Fund for Material Incentives (up to 15 percent);

- lump sum allowance; monetary compensation in return for food rations, as well as for renting (subletting) housing.

Also, the following payments are retained in the event that a serviceman is sent to study at training, retraining and advanced training courses, including outside Uzbekistan, for a period of more than six months.
