Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 10 February, a ceremony was held to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan (CCI) and the Regional Office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
As part of the signed document, the parties agreed to establish cooperation for the implementation of joint activities to ensure favorable legal, economic and social conditions for the implementation of entrepreneurial initiatives, as well as the development of mutually beneficial partnerships between the business community and public authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Also, within the framework of cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, measures are taken to develop and implement joint projects and conduct joint events (conferences, round tables, seminars, etc.) on priority issues for the Chamber of Commerce and local business, including in the field of promoting the “Anti-Corruption Business Charter of Uzbekistan”, improving arbitration courts in the regions of Uzbekistan, developing international arbitration, studying German experience in the field of business support, etc.
The Konrad Adenauer Foundation is a political foundation established in Germany in honor of Konrad Adenauer, the first German Federal Chancellor.
