Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Center for Development of National Cinematography, created on the basis of the Decree of the President of the country "On measures to raise the cinema and film industry to a qualitatively new level and further improve the system of state support for the industry", was launched under the founding of the Cinematography Agency of Uzbekistan and representatives of the cinematography.

The Center for Development of National Cinematography has been entrusted with the task of forming cinematography as a strategic source in the spiritual, cultural and educational life of society, including in educating young people in the spirit of patriotism, improving the system of state support for the film industry and attracting foreign film companies to the country for the development of production of joint films.

The center will also carry out systematic work to develop the film industry as a separate sector of the economy, create a modern infrastructure with a high-tech material and technical base, introduce an effective training system for the film industry, improve the qualifications of film actors and technical workers.

Specific measures have been outlined for state support for the production of national serials, the wide involvement of young animators and animators in the creation of animated films and the provision of guaranteed copyright protection, the development of a film distribution system and the presentation of national films to the world film market.
