Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the eighteenth plenary meeting of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the issue of changing the boundaries of Zangiata, Yukorichirchik, Urtachirchik and Kibray districts of Tashkent region and Sergeli, Bektemir, Mirzo-Ulugbek and Yashnabad districts of the city of Tashkent region, as well as and the city of Tashkent.
As you know, during the current year, the head of state has repeatedly visited the city of Tashkent and Tashkent region in order to get acquainted with the progress of the creative and landscaping work carried out on the ground, socio-economic reforms, and communication with the people.
During the visits, a number of new ideas were put forward aimed at comprehensively increasing the potential of these regions, the responsible workers were given appropriate instructions and tasks were defined.
In addition, as a result of these visits, a change was initiated in the borders of Zangiata, Yukorichirchik, Urtachirchik and Kibray districts of Tashkent region and Sergeli, Bektemir, Mirzo-Ulugbek and Yashnabad districts of the city of Tashkent, as well as Tashkent region and the city of Tashkent.
It should be noted that the population of the city of Tashkent as of July 1, 2021 is 2.73 million people. The population in comparison with the beginning of the current year has increased by 42.8 thousand people, the population density is 7 564 people per 1 sq. km. ha This, in turn, is the reason for the emergence of development issues in the future of the city of Tashkent, the expansion of its territory.
The annual growth in the population of the city of Tashkent requires the adoption of measures for the construction of new social facilities in the city, the creation of new production and service enterprises, and an increase in cultural and leisure facilities. Such problems can be solved by gradually expanding the territory of the city of Tashkent.
In this regard, the resolution of the Senate, discussed at the plenary session, provides for the transfer of 7,853.3 hectares of land from the Tashkent region to the city of Tashkent, and 171.3 hectares of the territory of the Tashkent region from the city of Tashkent.
So, from Zangiata district of Tashkent region 1,827.1 hectares (of which 424.2 hectares of agricultural land) of land are transferred to the Sergeli district of Tashkent, from the Yukorichirchik district of the Tashkent region 490.0 hectares (of which 154.2 hectares of agricultural land ( of which 1,090.9 hectares of agricultural land) - to the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of the city of Tashkent, from the Kibray district of the Tashkent region 2 107.4 hectares (of which 1 002.6 hectares of agricultural land) - to the Yashnabad district of the city of Tashkent, from Sergeli district of the city of Tashkent 33.8 hectares of land areas - to Zangiata district of the Tashkent region, from Bektemir district of the city of Tashkent 137.5 hectares of land areas - to Yukorichirchik district of Tashkent coy area.
In addition, the allocation for other purposes of agricultural land (irrigated land) transferred to the city of Tashkent is carried out in the manner prescribed by law.
People's deputies elected from constituencies in the corresponding territories of the Tashkent region, transferred to the city of Tashkent, respectively, are considered people's deputies of the city of Tashkent.
In the territories passing from Tashkent region to the city of Tashkent, there are 42 MSGs. Today 95,872 people live here (23,249 families, 29,010 apartments). 15 preschool educational organizations (for 2025 places), 16 general education schools (for 8756 places) and 6 family polyclinics function in these territories.
At the same time, 1,421 small business entities carry out their activities in the field of industry and services. It should be noted that, thanks to the transfer of land plots from the territory of Tashkent region to the city of Tashkent, it will improve the living conditions of the population, expand the sphere of production and services, widely attract foreign investment, increase the export potential of the city, and improve the facilities of engineering, communication and road infrastructure.
It is also envisaged to adopt a separate government resolution on improving engineering, communication and road infrastructure, building social facilities in the territories transferred from Tashkent region to the city of Tashkent.
By a government resolution, the population living in the transferred territories of Tashkent region and the city of Tashkent, through an inventory, was re-registered at a new address. The forecast parameters of the local budget and socio-economic development of regions and cities will be revised, and appropriate changes will be made. Changes are made to the cadastral documents for real estate of the population and legal entities. Issues such as registration of vehicles of the population and legal entities, change of state numbers and issuance of certificates will be resolved.
A corresponding resolution of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis was adopted on this issue.
