Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the Regulations on the procedure for holding the competition "The Best School for Teaching Foreign Languages" for the President's Prize, the competition is held annually among schools teaching foreign languages such as English, German, French. Gulisora Ergasheva, head of the information service of the Agency for the Promotion of the Study of Foreign Languages, said.

The combined team of the school that has expressed a desire to take part in the competition is registered annually until 20 September in the information system of the Ministry of Public Education

Until 20 October, a registered school enters the established main indicators of teaching foreign languages into the information system. Only one team per language can participate from each school.

The team will consist of 5 students in grades 7-8-9. The competition is held in three stages in the following terms:

Stage I (district) - annually in February. The level of foreign language proficiency of participants is checked using test tasks;

Stage II (regional) - annually in April. At this stage, listening comprehension, writing, reading and lexical and grammatical skills of the participants are assessed.

III republican stage is held annually in August.
