Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A draft presidential decree on the establishment of the "Best Entrepreneur of the Year" award has been published for public discussion.

According to this document, it is proposed to establish an annual state award for entrepreneurs.

It is expected to present an annual award to the five best business representatives in honor of the Entrepreneur Day, celebrated on 20 August.

The amount of the premium will be 100 sizes of basic estimated value (27 million soums). It will be available to entrepreneurs who have distinguished themselves in business and social activities, in particular, in creating jobs, introducing innovations, paying taxes on time, exporting and training professional personnel.

It is reported that the khokims of the regions and the city of Tashkent, as well as the chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of Karakalpakstan, will nominate candidates for the award.
