Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 17 October 2020, a branch of the DMC multidisciplinary Innovation Clinic was opened in the Beruniy region of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

This clinic was created in pursuance of the instructions of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a visit to the DMC Innovative Clinic in the city of Tashkent to disseminate the experience of this clinic, bring high-quality, modern medical care to the most remote regions of the republic.

At the opening ceremony, First Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Jusipbek Kazbekov, Minister of Innovative Development Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov, Minister of Health of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Atajan Khamraev, Khokim of the Beruni region Otabek Saparbayev, head of the DMC clinic Zulfiya Ruzmetova made a welcoming speech. 

The event was attended by the director of the International Center of the Aral Sea region under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of the Ministry of Innovative Development, the Ministry of Health, deputies, doctors, the public and media representatives.

“At present, innovations on the way of economic and scientific development in our country are based on innovative ideas,” noted I. Abdurakhmonov. - In particular, a number of works based on innovative ideas are being introduced in the healthcare system. The DMC Innovation Clinic in Beruniy is a prime example of this. This clinic is one of the first multidisciplinary innovative clinics in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Today it is safe to say that this clinic has brought new technologies and innovations to the healthcare system of Karakalpakstan. The clinic is equipped with the latest modern medical equipment. It should be noted that this clinic can provide quality medical services in accordance with world standards in such areas of health as cardiology, ophthalmology, ENT, orthopedics, dentistry, clinical laboratory and instrumental research. Also, the presence of a surgical department in the clinic will allow you to receive qualified medical care on the spot.

On the ground floor of the clinic there are doctors’ offices and a clinical and biochemical one, equipped with modern equipment and high-performance analyzers, which allows performing a variety of studies. The offices are equipped with modern high-tech medical equipment from leading foreign manufacturers. In addition, the workplace of each doctor is equipped with a modern computer. The computers have special software for medical institutions. Computers are united into a single local network, and through the Internet with a centralized database, which is located on a server in Tashkent in the DMC clinic.

Clinical and biochemical laboratory, equipped with modern equipment and high-performance analyzers, which allows you to perform a variety of studies. On the second floor of the clinic there is an operating unit, which includes two operating rooms, a recovery room, and other necessary rooms. Also on the second floor there is a hospital with 10 beds, which allows to provide patients with a full range of medical services, from examination to their rehabilitation.
