Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As Uzbekistan increasingly integrates into the world economic community, foreign trade and economic relations require development in accordance with international standards.
In the global world economy, the presence of an international standard certificate has a significant impact on the trade in a product or service, the development of its own client base, and competitiveness in the international arena. One of these international standards is ISO (International Organization for Standardization) - a set of standards of the International Organization for Standardization.
One of the goals set in the new development strategy of Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 is to increase the country’s export potential to ГЫ$30 billion by 2026 by increasing the country’s export potential, introducing foreign and international standards, and attracting well-known brands.
To this end, the Uzcharmsanoat Association has taken a number of measures to introduce an international quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.
As a result, the O’zbek-Turk Test Markazi JV issued the Uzcharmsanoat Association with a certificate of the international quality management system in the new edition of the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
The introduction of an international quality management system into the Uzcharmsanoat system will effectively fulfill the set tasks, in particular, it will serve to increase the efficiency of enterprises’ production, enter new markets and further expand the geography of industry exports.
