The Agency for Preschool Education ceases its activities

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree "On measures to improve the system of public administration in the sphere of preschool and school education."

According to the decree, the activities of the Agency for Preschool Education have been terminated. All its organizational structures have been transferred to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

The Ministry of Preschool and School Education has been entrusted with additional functions, including:

• Creating conditions for comprehensive intellectual, moral, aesthetic, and physical development of preschool children, taking into account advanced international experience;
• Implementing modern innovative pedagogical technologies, effective forms, and methods of education and upbringing in the preschool education process;
• Improving curricula, programs, and educational-methodical complexes of preschool education, ensuring their consistency with programs of general secondary education;
• Ensuring phased coverage of all preschool children with preschool education by creating a healthy competitive environment among state and non-state preschool educational organizations.
