Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Government Resolution "On measures to organize the activities of the collective groups "Followers of Tumaris" under the departments of internal affairs bodies on women’s issues" was adopted.
According to the Resolution, from 1 June 2023, the activities of the collective groups "Followers of Tumaris" will be organized with the involvement on a voluntary basis of women aged 18 to 30 years old with a general secondary or secondary specialized education, permanently residing in the attached territory and possessing communication and organizational skills .
One of the main tasks of these groups is to assist in identifying issues that negatively affect the behavior of girls studying in secondary, secondary specialized and vocational educational institutions, as well as those related to the violation of their rights and interests.
Groups are formed at subdivisions of internal affairs bodies on women’s issues in all districts (cities) of the republic, numbering from 2 people (in districts (cities) of the republic with a severe crime situation - from 3 people).
Members of the working group carry out their activities for a total of 360 hours within 1 year, provided that there is no negative impact on their learning and work process.
Members of the “Followers of Tumaris” collective groups who have made a worthy contribution to the prevention of delinquency among women and the protection of the rights and freedoms of women, on the recommendation of the head of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, are given the right to enter quota training without an individual interview (testing) after successfully passing all stages of selection to universities of law enforcement agencies.
In the event that the number of recommended candidates exceeds the established quota, they are admitted to study based on the points scored as a result of the competition, with sequential distribution within the allocated admission quotas.
