Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 20 September 2022, the General Debates of the 77th session of the General Assembly opened at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

Delegations from more than 180 countries will meet at the UN Headquarters in New York, where the high-level week of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly will open.

The agenda of the session includes issues of conflicts and crises of our time, the fight against COVID-19 and other diseases, climate change, sustainable development and the debt of developing countries.

The main event will be a high-level week where heads of state, government and foreign ministers from different countries will meet. Dozens of bilateral and multilateral meetings will be held.

The event is attended by a delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Norov.

The speech of the head of the delegation of Uzbekistan is scheduled for 24 September.
