The 30th Anniversary International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road” Concludes in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 29 November 2025, the 30th Tashkent International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road” (TITF-2025) concluded in Tashkent.

The three-day event, organized by the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National PR Center, and Interforum, took place at the CAEx International Exhibition Complex.

The anniversary fair once again served as a key platform for strengthening international business connections and promoting Uzbekistan’s tourism potential.

During the event, new tourist routes, regional attractions, and innovative projects aimed at developing the tourism sector were showcased.

Over a hundred accredited media outlets covered the fair, contributing to increasing Uzbekistan’s international recognition.

The Tashkent International Tourism Fair has been held since 1995 and is the largest tourism event in Central Asia. Its main objectives are to showcase Uzbekistan’s tourism opportunities, create conditions for industry development, and expand cooperation with international partners.

In 2025, TITF-2025 was attended by more than 15,000 people, including representatives from 72 foreign countries, such as France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands. Over 100 domestic and international organizations presented their products and services across 44 exhibition stands. Thousands of B2B meetings were held, resulting in the signing of a significant number of agreements.

Notably, the fair featured a national pavilion from China for the first time.

The “Hosted Buyers” program brought together 10 foreign and more than 30 domestic companies. Over 50 contracts were signed as a result of these meetings.

The fair’s business and cultural program included panel sessions, workshops, the International Aviation Forum “Uzairo,” the gastronomic festival “Delicious Uzbekistan,” an exhibition of traditional crafts, the Tourism Education Forum, “Global Tourism Media Campus” events, the international media tour “Tabarruk Ziyorat,” the Ethno Games Festival, as well as forums “Central Asia — European Union” and a meeting under Uzbekistan’s chairmanship of the OIC Conference of Tourism Ministers.

At the closing ceremony, the organizers announced that next year the fair will be held for the 31st time. All participants who presented their stands received commemorative souvenirs.
