Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting of the Kengash of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held. It was moderated by the Chairman of the Senate Tanzila Narbaeva.

At the meeting, it was decided to convene the twenty-second plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 15 December 2021.

At the plenary session, which will be held in the form of videoconference, it is planned to consider a number of issues. Among them are the laws "On the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2022", "On transplantation of human organs and tissues", "On amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the improvement of the system of work with youth", "On amendments to Articles 245 and 2458 of the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Administrative Responsibility", "On the establishment of the Day of Entrepreneurs".

In addition, the reports of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the execution of the State budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for nine months of 2021, the khokim of the city of Tashkent on the development of territories, as well as on the progress of the implementation of measures provided for the integrated socio-economic development of the Republic of Karakalpakstan will be heard.

The senators will also discuss the results of the parliamentary inquiry sent to the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement under the General Prosecutor’s Office on the status of execution of judicial acts and acts of other bodies.

The plenary session will also consider the issues of sending parliamentary inquiries to the Cabinet of Ministers on measures taken to ensure sustainable growth in export volumes and diversify its nomenclature and on the impact on the environment and health of the population of problems arising in the Aydar-Arnasay lake system.

It is also envisaged to hear the report of the Committee of the Upper House of Parliament on Women and Gender Equality on the activities for 2020 and the past period of 2021.

In addition, at the meeting of the Kengash, a decision was made on the implementation of parliamentary control over the implementation of measures for the accelerated development of entrepreneurship in the Aral Sea region.
