Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - According to the Presidential Decree, by 1 August 2021, measures will be taken to prepare children for a one-year free primary education.

Centers for the social and psychological support of children without the status of a legal entity will be established in the district (city) departments of public education.

In the 2021/2022 academic year, the admission parameters in the areas of education in the field of psychology on the basis of state orders will increase by 30 percent.

From 1 January 2021:

test tasks for admission to state higher educational institutions will be drawn up on the basis of state educational standards and curricula, the content of test materials will be brought in line with the curricula of subjects in the general secondary education system;

under the district (city) departments of public education, funds will be established to stimulate public education workers without the status of a legal entity,

The A. Avloni Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Leaders and Specialists of the Public Education System was reorganized into the A. Avloni Research Institute for Studying Problems and Determining the Prospects of Public Education under the Ministry of Public Education.

According to the decree, a draft law "On the status of pedagogical workers" will also be developed.
