Telecommunications Services in Uzbekistan Grow by 8.6% in January–November 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the National Statistics Committee, the volume of telecommunications services in Uzbekistan reached 22.6 trillion soums in January–November 2025, marking an increase of 8.6% compared with the same period of 2024.

Telecommunications accounted for 32% of the total volume of communication and information services during the reporting period.

Regionally, the largest volume of services was recorded in Tashkent city, amounting to 9.49 trillion soums. Among the regions, Samarkand and Fergana regions were joint leaders with 1.64 trillion soums each, followed by Andijan region with 1.31 trillion soums and Tashkent region with 1.21 trillion soums.

Lower volumes were observed in Syrdarya region at 419.4 billion soums, Jizzakh region at 530.3 billion soums, and Navoi region at 555.7 billion soums. The Republic of Karakalpakstan recorded 845.7 billion soums, while Khorezm region accounted for 836.7 billion soums.

In the remaining regions, the volume of telecommunications services ranged from 907.3 billion soums in Bukhara region to 1.64 trillion soums in Samarkand and Fergana regions.
