Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A resolution of the President “On measures to create a special industrial zone" Technopark "Nukus" in the Republic of Karakalpakstan” was adopted.

The resolution envisages the creation of a special industrial zone "Technopark" Nukus "on 30 hectares of vacant land in the territory of the free economic zone" Nukus "for a period of 30 years.

One of the main activities of the Technopark is the creation of energy-efficient, environmentally friendly production facilities in accordance with international standards.

As part of the Program for the Development of Social and Industrial Infrastructure of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2023–2024, capital investment limits will be allocated from centralized sources of financing for the development of the engineering and communication infrastructure of the Technopark.

On the territory of the technology park, measures will be taken to stimulate and develop investment activities by establishing long-term mutually beneficial partnerships with domestic and foreign investors.
