Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Government has adopted a Resolution “On Measures for Organizing and Holding the 'Teacher of the Year' and 'Leader in Professional Excellence' Competitions among General Secondary Education Workers.”

According to the resolution, starting from 2026, two national competitions will be held biennially: “Teacher of the Year” for teaching staff of general secondary education institutions under the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, and “Leader in Professional Excellence” for directors of pedagogical excellence centers.

The resolution outlines the official regulations governing the organization and procedures of both competitions.

Each winning candidate will receive a certificate with a QR code. Based on this certificate, winners will be awarded a monetary prize of 1,400 times the basic calculation value (BCV), amounting to 525 million soums.
