Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Two days of the Tashkent Youth Forum - 2020, organized by the Tashkent City Administration, the Agency for Youth Affairs and the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, were held at the Congress Hall.

The need to hold a youth forum was discussed back on 20 November 2020 during a meeting chaired by the head of state, which dealt with issues of socio-economic development of Chilanzar district of the capital. The event at the same time sums up the results of the festival, which took place during the month under the motto "Tashkent loves youth!"

Registered participants had the opportunity to meet with ministers and heads of state organizations, present their proposals, announce initiatives.

At the grand opening on the first day, the khokim of the capital Jakhongir Artikkhodjaev noted that young people can reach high peaks at the international level. “You need to strive for progress, you need to be heroes! We can do this? Of course we can! You need to be a hero in any area!” he stressed.

Heads of ministries and departments took part in the sections "Social sphere - 2030: prospects for the development of education and health care systems", "Cultural and tourist image of Tashkent - 2030", "Legal Tashkent - 2030", "Digital Tashkent - 2030", "Financial sector of Tashkent and the modern image of the capital - 2030 ”.

Youth meetings were held with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister for Social Development Bekhzod Musayev, Minister of Public Education Sherzod Shermatov, First Deputy Minister of Health Amrillo Inoyatov, Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education Inomjon Majidov, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Aziz Abdukhakimov, Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov, Minister of Physical Culture and Sports Dilmurod Nabiyev, Minister of Justice Ruslanbek Davletov, Head of the Anti-Corruption Agency Akmal Burkhanov, Advisor to the Prime Minister Olimjon Umarov, Deputy Minister of Health Abdulla Azizov, Director of IT-Park Farhod Ibragimov, Deputy Minister of Innovative Development Olimvich, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov, Minister of Finance Timur Ishmetov, First Deputy Minister of Construction Sherzod Khidoyatov.

On the second day, the participants discussed gender equality issues with the youth. As part of the youth forum, conversations with TikTok and Instagram stars were organized, bloggers Aziza Umarova, Aziza Kurbonova, Lazizbek Khamidov, Nikita Makarenko, Khushnudbek Khudayberdiev made speeches.

First Deputy Director of the Civil Service Development Agency under the President, member of the Youth Academy Atabek Khasanov met with young people. The development of the sports direction was discussed with specialists in this field.

The topic "Youth migration in the era of globalization" was the focus of the section, which was attended by the first deputy speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, director of the National Center for Human Rights Akmal Saidov.

On the second day, there were presentations of an interactive game, the "Module-5" site, a design club of Uzbekistan, and also heard the proposals of the participants.

Khokim of Tashkent Jakhongir Artikkhodjaev made a presentation "Life of youth in the capital in 2021". So, in the field of education: next year, on the basis of standard projects, 4 modern schools with in-depth study of mathematics, 5 - computer science and information technology, 3 - chemistry and biology will be organized.

In 2021, 2 new schools will be built, 12 will be renovated. On the basis of secondary school No. 82, located in Shaykhantakhur district, a comprehensive school with a sports bias will be created. The creation of the Central Asian International State Research Institute is planned.

In the field of sports: 42 school gyms, 17 stadiums, 180 sports grounds will be renovated. For pedestrians and cyclists, special "Health Paths" will be created. The capital will have sports grounds for Street Workout, basketball, volleyball, badminton.

In Chilanzar, Sergeli, Almazar, Yashnabad districts, 13 sports grounds will be organized around new buildings.

In the field of IT: in 2021, the Yashnabad innovation technology park will be launched, 720 new jobs will be created. The organization of ICT centers is planned in all regions.

In the field of culture: the Magic city amusement park will open on an area of 21 hectares on the territory of the current Alisher Navoi park, which will have cafes, restaurants, shops, a modern oceanarium and other facilities. The creation of "Youth Theater Studios" is planned.

And also in the capital will open a center for vocational training and entrepreneurship of youth and women. To support youth, the Kelajak Umidi Foundation will be created under the Tashkent City Department of Public Education. From 2021, the Young Reader Family and Young Reader contests will be held in three different age categories.

Within two days there were screenings of short films "Debut", fashion shows, meetings with representatives of the marketing sphere, rewarding of young active leaders.

Over two days, about 10,000 people took part in the Tashkent Youth Forum.
