Tashkent Updates Traffic Scheme at Roundabout Near Grand Mir Hotel

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Tashkent city administration announced that following the completion of the first phase of Shota Rustaveli Street reconstruction and the update of traffic flow at the roundabout near Grand Mir Hotel (Shakhrisabz — Mirabad Street), road signs and markings have been installed fully in accordance with traffic regulations.

“Informational and mandatory signs are placed around the entire perimeter of the roundabout, including lane direction indicators positioned at least 50 meters before the traffic lights, allowing drivers to safely determine their route and change lanes in advance,” the city administration noted.

Approach signs are mounted on metal structures above the roadway, ensuring clear visibility even in heavy traffic. The administration also warned that temporary inconveniences may occur during the initial days as drivers adapt to the new traffic pattern.

“We express our gratitude to drivers for their attentiveness and feedback,” emphasized the Tashkent city authorities.
