Tashkent to restrict traffic near mosques on 30 March for Eid al-Fitr prayers
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2025, the first day of Eid al-Fitr falls on March 30. On this occasion, festive prayers will be held in 124 mosques across Tashkent.
To ensure order, security, and convenience for worshippers, temporary traffic restrictions will be in place from 00:00 to 07:30 on streets adjacent to mosques.

Mirzo-Ulugbek District
Buyuk Ipak Yuli Street (from the intersection with Shortepa Street to Sultoniya Street).
Bektemir District
Bektemir Shokh Street (from Hussein Boykaro Street to Bektemir Yuli Street).
Almazar District
Small Ring Road Street (from the intersection with Sagbon Street to the Nurafshon–Sagbon intersection).
Karasaray Street (from the intersection with Nurafshon Street to Abdulla Qadiri Street).
Sagbon Street (from the 12th Sagbon cul-de-sac to the Keles Yuli–Noraztepa intersection).
Shaykhantakhur District
Kukcha Darvoza Street (from Nurafshon Street to Beshkayragoch Street).
Bunyodkor Street (from Kamolon Street to the 2nd Ustazoda cul-de-sac).
Sebzor Street (from Nurafshon Street to the Nurafshon–Labzak intersection).
Chilanzar District
Al-Khwarizmi Street (from Khirmontepa Street to Katta Kani Street).
Sogali Ota Street (from Al-Khwarizmi Street to the 2nd Khonobod cul-de-sac).
Bunyodkor Street (from the bridge near Mukimiy Street to the Oliy Majlis building).
Uchtepa District
Lutfiy Street (from Khirmontepa Street to Katta Kani Street).
Nazarbek Street (from Makhorat Street to the 1st Zamakhshariy cul-de-sac).
Yunusabad District
Small Ring Road (from Korgazma Street to Sh. Rashidov Street).
Bogishamol Street (from Bogishamol Street to Shivli Street).
Yakkasaray District
Small Ring Road (from Kushbegi Street to Faizli Toshkent Street).
Sergeli District
Tashkent Ring Road (from Faizli Toshkent Street to Kumarik Street).
Yashnabad District
Fergana Street (from Fitrat Street to Tolimarjon Street).
Mirabad District
Tashkent Ring Road (from the bridge near the Kuyluk market to Munis Street).
Additional restrictions may be imposed on other streets near mosques.
The Muslim Board of Uzbekistan advises residents to plan routes in advance and use alternative roads where possible.
