Tashkent to Host Uzbek-Indian Business Forum with Indian Chamber of Commerce Delegation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first half of December 2025, Tashkent will host a major Uzbek-Indian business forum, according to Dunyo.

The forum is organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Delhi with support from relevant Uzbek authorities and will feature a representative delegation from the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), including leaders of leading Indian companies.

The agreement to hold the event was reached during a meeting at the Uzbek diplomatic mission in Delhi with ICC Deputy Director Palash Kumar Adhikari. The parties discussed concrete measures to strengthen trade, economic, and investment cooperation between the two countries.

The upcoming forum will serve as a key step in developing the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and India. In recent years, bilateral relations have shown steady growth, with increasing trade volumes and implementation of joint projects across various sectors.

Uzbekistan continues to create favorable conditions for investors, making the country increasingly attractive for Indian businesses. The forum is intended as an effective platform for establishing new contacts, presenting investment opportunities, and advancing business cooperation to a higher level.

The Indian delegation will include representatives from major corporations and medium-sized enterprises operating in energy, IT, telecommunications, textiles, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, agriculture, and water management.

In addition to plenary sessions, the program includes a series of bilateral meetings with Uzbek ministries, agencies, the Chamber of Commerce, and sectoral associations.

Founded in 1925 in Calcutta, the Indian Chamber of Commerce is one of the oldest and most reputable business associations in India, playing a significant role in promoting the country’s international economic cooperation.
