Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - It is known that in 2017, at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 30 June was announced as the "Youth Day". The large-scale celebration of Youth Day for the first time in the history of Uzbekistan has become a practical confirmation of attention to youth at the level of state policy.

With the participation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Youth Forum of Uzbekistan was held on 25 December 2020, and 2021 was declared in our country as the Year of Supporting Youth and Strengthening the Health of the Population.

In this regard, in order to meaningfully organize the free time of youth on an area of 30 thousand square meters, located between the National Library of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi, the Hyatt Regency hotel and the Palace of Youth Creativity, a town of the Five Initiatives movement was built, where on 21-25 May the youth forum was held, and a large forum “Students and Youth of Uzbekistan” was held in the Botanical Garden of the capital.

In addition, employment was provided for 31,411 young, unemployed and unorganized residents of the capital, 2,275 meetings between sector leaders and youth were held, involving 42,181 young people, during these meetings 10,801 problems and proposals of young people were resolved on the spot. 32,881 young people included in the "Youth Notebook" were allocated 34 billion 570 million soums at the expense of the "Youth Notebook Fund", as a result of which 30,947 young people were excluded from the "Youth Notebook".

According to the established tradition, November-December months of the current year are declared "Youth Month" under the motto "Tashkent loves youth".

The main goal of the organization of the Youth Month is to awaken in young people a sense of belonging to the reforms being implemented in our country, to identify initiative and talented young people, to create opportunities for the manifestation of their talent, to increase interest in science, creativity, culture and art, sports among young people, to promote students, graduates and unorganized youth in search of a worthy niche in society.

Within the framework of the Youth Month, large projects will be carried out in 6 areas.

- the project "Festival of Intellectual Projects"

- the project "Youth Festival of Culture and Art"

- youth exhibitions of fashion and design "Tradition and modernity"

- the project "Experience and Skill"

- the project "Military-patriotic festival of Tashkent".

In addition, regular concert programs “Poytaxt party” will be organized in parks, shopping malls and residential areas of Tashkent.

Within the framework of the Youth Sports Festival project, district and city stages of competitions in futsal, volleyball, basketball, chess, table tennis, Street Workout and arm wrestling will be organized among young people. It is planned to attract more than 25 thousand young residents of the capital to these sports events. At the end of the project, on 27 November in the sports complex "Uzbekistan" in Yunusabad region, the final award ceremony for the project "Youth Sports Festival" will take place, as well as a concert program.

Within the framework of the "Festival of Intellectual Projects" it is planned to hold intellectual games "Zakovat" "What? Where? When?”, “Munozar” debate competition, “CUDC”debate championship. This project of intellectual games will cover 1,000 young people and on November 20, an award ceremony will be held at the Hilton Tashkent City hotel within the framework of the Festival of Intellectual Projects.

During the Youth Festival of Culture and Art, the Dance Project Movement Festival, the Univervision Competition, and the Funny and Resourceful Competition will take place at the Turkiston Palace. Within the framework of the Youth Festival of Culture and Art, it is planned to reach more than 15 thousand young people.

The youth exhibitions of fashion and design "Tradition and Modernity" promise master classes from famous fashion designers and designers, a show of original works of young designers, a festival of "National Dresses", an exhibition of works by Craftsmen and Young Artists. It is planned to involve 500 young people in these projects.

The Experience and Skill project includes the Secrets of Success Project, the Youth Cybersport Championship, the Tashkent Bowling Championship, the InoTechExpo exhibition of innovation proposals, technical projects and developments.

Within the framework of the "Military-patriotic festival of Tashkent", a demonstration of military equipment, a demonstration performance of military personnel, a military-patriotic concert program under the slogan "Ulugimsan Vatanim", visits to military units and military educational institutions of the city of Tashkent, the "Job Fest" festival, the "Kindness Without Borders ”, within the framework of which a trade fair of products from the pupils of“ Mehribonlik ”houses and specialized boarding schools in Tashkent, as well as a concert program will be held. In addition, the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference "Majestic and Young Tashkent", the ceremony of awarding the winners of the competition for the "Khokim Scholarship" established for students of educational institutions of the city of Tashkent will be held. It is planned that these projects will cover more than 50 thousand representatives of the younger generation.

In the last decade of December, a youth forum will be organized under the slogan "Youth of new Uzbekistan - unite".

The implementation of the above projects and events will help attract more than 200 thousand young people and organize their free time meaningfully and profitably.
