Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 1 to 3 June 2022, Tashkent will host the largest economic networking conference for companies in Austria and Uzbekistan - "Austria Connect Central Asia" under the slogan "Uzbekistan is a rising star: new opportunities along the Great Silk Road".

The organizers of the conference are the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Austria, the Federal Economic Chamber of Austria, the Trade Representation of Austria in Central Asia, as well as other involved agencies and departments of our republic.

More than 100 Austrian companies from neighboring regions (countries of Central Asia and South Asia, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, etc.) are expected to participate in "Austria Connect Central Asia", which will be provided with information about the economic potential, investment opportunities, legislation, fiscal policy and other important aspects of doing business in Uzbekistan.

The main goal of this event is the development of investment and trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Austria, the establishment of direct contacts between the business circles of the two countries, the conclusion of new investment and export agreements, as well as the attraction of Austrian economic entities in search of promising trade partners.

On the eve of the conference, on 30-31 May 2022, the next business mission of the Republic of Austria will visit, which will hold negotiations in the "G2B" and "B2B" formats with the ministries and departments of Uzbekistan and domestic companies, as well as visit the production facilities of Uzbek manufacturers of export products.
