Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 21-25 October 2019, Tashkent will host the next meeting of the Uzbek-Latvian Joint Commission on International Road Transport.

According to the information of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Latvia, a delegation of the Ministry of Communications of the Republic of Latvia, headed by the director of the Department of Road Transport Talivaldis Vettirans, will arrive in our country, the Foreign Ministry said.

The meeting will discuss practical issues of cooperation between the relevant structures of Uzbekistan and Latvia in the field of transport and transit.

The previous meeting was held in Riga in August 2017.

The Mixed Commission on International Road Transport was established in accordance with the provisions of the intergovernmental Agreement on International Road Transport of 23 May 1996.
