Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 27 November, Tashkent State Transport University (TSTU) held a ceremonial signing of a Cooperation Agreement, attended by Uzbekistan’s Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kungurtboy Sharipov, French Minister of Transport Philippe Tabarot, and representatives of educational and aviation institutions from both countries.
The agreement, signed between TSTU, France’s National School of Civil Aviation (ENAC), and aerospace giant Airbus, aims to train highly qualified specialists for the aviation sector through integrated education, research, and practical training.
From 2026, third- and fourth-year students in TSTU’s Aviation program will have the opportunity to undertake a five-month internship at Airbus’ center in Toulouse, France.
This will allow young professionals to gain hands-on experience, learn advanced European practices, collaborate with leading engineers, and develop skills in a high-tech environment.
The agreement supports Uzbekistan’s state policy to modernize the aviation sector, expand academic cooperation, organize joint research projects, and train personnel according to international standards.
