Tashkent region’s GRP grows by 6.4% in 2009

Industrial output of Tashkent region grew by 7.5% in the reporting period, UzA reported. Agriculture production rose by 9.8% and paid service increased by 21.4%.

Retail trade turnover in the region rose by 15.3% and production of consumer goods increased by 11.5% in 2009.

Nineteen enterprises, including into localization programme, produced 46 types of goods for 136 billion soums in the reporting period.
