Tashkent Region Delegation Studies IT Education Experience in Nizhny Novgorod
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from Tashkent Region, led by Hokim Zoir Mirzaev, is visiting Nizhny Novgorod, Russian Federation.
The visit includes meetings, negotiations, and the signing of agreements with partners on socio-economic cooperation.
During the trip, the delegation visited key facilities in the city, including the educational IT campus “NEYMARK,” a leading center for training specialists in information technologies. The campus, located in central Nizhny Novgorod, is built to international standards and comprises several academic buildings with modern classrooms, as well as 18 student dormitories.
By 2028, the campus plans to construct a large academic building with a fitness and wellness complex and a conference hall. Students at the campus quickly acquire foundational disciplines and skills while participating in independent research and projects.
Nearby, a technopark is planned with offices for leading IT companies and a “Quantum Valley,” a specialized area for scientific research. The campus aims to train up to 1,500 qualified specialists annually.
During discussions with campus leadership, representatives of Tashkent Region praised the training conditions and opportunities for IT professionals and explored prospects for practical cooperation leveraging the accumulated experience and expertise.
