Tashkent police creates cavalry detachment

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Main department of interior affairs of Tashkent will create cavalry detachment. This is envisaged in line with the presidential resolution “On measures on radically improving activities of law enforcement bodies in the field of protecting public order and ensuring public security”.

According to the resolution, cavalry detachment is organized in the structure of the Brigade of the Patrol and Guard Service of the Patrol and Guard Service and Public Order Protection of the Main department of interior affairs of Tashkent.

The cavalry detachment will ensure protection of public order andprovision of public safety in the course of mass events, held in the open air.

The task of the new detachment also includes protection of public order and ensuring the safety of citizens in the central streets of Tashkent, in recreation areas and other public places.
