Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Mayor of Tashkent Shavkat Umurzakov held a working meeting with Yaman Shahin, CEO of Malls Group, and Levent Kirazoglu, CFO of Pasha Real Estate Group.

The discussions focused on the development of the capital’s tourism sector and opportunities to expand investment cooperation with international partners.

The parties exchanged views on a number of projects aimed at enhancing Tashkent’s appeal as a tourist destination and improving urban infrastructure.

Particular attention was given to the construction of the premium-class hotel The Ritz-Carlton, Tashkent, a landmark initiative poised to play a key role in shaping a modern tourism ecosystem in the city that meets international standards of quality and service.

The hotel has already received the prestigious Best Mixed-Use Architecture award at the Asia Pacific Property Awards ceremony. Its architectural concept was developed by the global design firm Benoy Limited.

The project reflects a harmonious blend of global design excellence and regional architectural identity, emphasizing the uniqueness and high standard of the new landmark in Uzbekistan’s capital.
