Tashkent Launches Pilot Project to Restore Green Zones
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A pilot project has been launched in Tashkent to restore and preserve green zones while planning urban parking spaces.
The initiative is implemented by Poytaxt Parking in collaboration with the city administration and the Committee for Ecology.
Under the project, the cadastral boundaries of green zones are maintained during parking design, and efforts are made to restore these areas. A pilot site on Bukhara Street serves as an example of integrating urban infrastructure with the natural environment.
Trees and shrubs have been planted with the participation of municipal services, local residents, and media representatives.
The project aims to create a more comfortable and eco-friendly urban environment by combining functional urban spaces with the preservation of natural resources.
